For vendors
Vendor portal overview
The vendor portal gives Kenyan shops a dedicated place to manage their presence on Lensi. This page describes what exists today, not a future wish-list.
Accessing the portal
The vendor portal lives at /vendor. You need a Lensi account and must be signed in to view it. If you do not yet have a vendor profile, the dashboard will guide you to complete your details first.
Profile and verification
On the profile page, you can update your business name, contact details, location, and verification documents. These details are used when evaluating your vendor status.
- New vendors usually start in a pending state until the team reviews the application.
- Once verified, your account gets a "Verified" badge that appears in relevant views.
Submitting vendor prices
Vendors can submit prices through the portal, using a dedicated form and optional CSV upload. These submissions are clearly marked as vendor-sourced in price views and in the vendor directory.
- Use the submissions area at /vendor/submissions to add or review your price entries.
- For larger catalogues, you can upload a CSV file using the bulk upload tool in the same area.
Analytics and recent activity
The analytics section at /vendor/analytics gives you a basic view of how your submissions are performing: counts of verified prices, approval rates, and leading products.
These insights are deliberately simple and focused on quality rather than advertising.
